Wishing the Athertons and Swan Brook Equestrian Center the best of luck.

As we approach our closing date on the farm, I’d like to extend our sincere gratitude to all the have walked into our barn over the years. We are indebted to you all. We have learned so much and are thankful you all entrusted us with the care of your horses. We truly loved them all. We will be taking some time to get settled but we are looking forward to traveling to teach lessons through the winter and are looking forward to teaching at our new place in kennebunk in the spring. We will also be continuing to sell hay during the season. Thank you all for your continued support. My mother and I are looking forward to this new chapter. We wish you all a wonderful holiday season.

Al Dube Quarter Horses 2017

And That is a Wrap

Al Dube Quarter Horses had a great 2017 show season. This summer, Silver Heels Riding Clubs celebrated 60 years as a show organization, making it enjoyable for all, young and old. We will be attending the banquet in January for year end awards. Nicole Banks showing Lena Shore Gold is Champion in Ranch Horse Pleasure and Ranch Horse Riding. Ron Lambert showing Diamond Built Champion in Ranch Horse Halter, Reserve Champion in Ranch Horse Pleasure and Ranch Horse Riding. Tammy Marchand showing Lena Shore Gold in Walk Trot Pleasure taking third place.

Northeast Reining Horse Association Shows were also attended this year. Finishing the year with: Nicole Banks showing Diamond Built, third in Green Horse. Ron Lambert showing Diamond Built, sixth in Green Reiner.

In September we sold our farm in Biddeford, which has been a bittersweet challenge for all involved. We spent September, October, and November moving our farming operation to New Beginnings Farm in Arundel. December 1st we moved the horses to Kennebunk where we were warmly welcomed by East Mark Farm. We will spend the winter months settling into our new surroundings, and gearing up for next year.

We wish the best of luck to Swan Brook Equestrian Center at their new location in Biddeford.

See you in the spring 2018!
